Welcome to Misty's Place, this is the club house for the RETURN TO MISTY MOORINGS website. If you flew Misty Moorings, Inc scenery in FS9, and loved it, but now miss it because you have moved on to FSX ... then you've found a new home!

Return To Misty Moorings places all of the familiar sceneries into the ORBX/PFJ addon. You'll also find new Missions out into the beautiful Misty Fjords. For those of you flying Misty Moorings, Inc sceneries for the first time. For the many of you who would like to RETURN to Misty Moorings ... WELCOME BACK!

Below are the key features for Return to Misty Moorings, you will find the navigation easy to follow. A menu for the full site is across the top of the page, click on a button to go where you wish ... you are welcome everywhere!

Welcome back to Misty! After a long time away, we have a chance to re-visit an old friend. Doug Linn, the original landlord of Misty Moorings and with approval and assistance from original Misty Moorings scenery creator, Bill Dick, are teaming up again with myself to bring back Misty! We are reviving the old site and giving it a facelift. These scenery addons are FSX representations of some of the old Misty Moorings scenery areas that used to be visited when flying in FS2002 and FS2004. Those were made to work with the "Misty Fjords" addon package from FSAddon.com.

We have received permission from Bill Dick to remake his Misty Moorings scenery packages into FSX updates. I am attempting to do that and doing my best to place these inside the new ORBX FTX scenery addon, "Pacific Fjords" where they were situated in the Misty Fjords world. You should be able to fly to these locations using the Return to Misty Moorings VFR "Trip Tix" which are a dialog of sorts that the pilot can use by flying suggested headings, locating prominent landmarks, etc and getting to these areas that way.

It's nice to be back and we welcome you as we return to misty moorings!

NOTAMS & NEWS What's new at Return to Misty Moorings? Here's the place to find out. On this page we will be posting anything "new" that happens with the newest entry at the top. Often you will find links to new things. When we correct errors on the site or do specific maintenance, we'll also post that news on this page.

SCENERY ADDONs The old and familiar (as well as some new) add on sceneries can be found on the Add on Scenery Page. There is an A to Z alphabet across the top of the body of the page ... clicking on a letter takes you to that part of the alphabetical listings. There is a BACK TO TOP button under each alphabetical group so you can quickly go back to the top and look for another scenery addon.

THE HANGAR As people repaint aircraft with the Misty Moorings, Inc colors, we will post those aircraft in The Hangar. You will be able to download the repaint with full instructions from this page.

MISSIONS Here you will find "jobs" or "missions" for the Return to Misty Moorings sceneries. There will be tasks as well as directions to the various scenery areas. If you are flying VFR, "Trip Tickets" (Trip Tics) are often included that remind you to make turns based on your knowledge of the terrain. These are listed alphabetically. Use the A to Z navigation system across the top of the listings to quickly go to an alphabetical group. Use the BACK TO TOP buttons to quickly return to the top.

THE GALLERY Here is where we will place the screenshots that come to us from the virtual pilots. Instructions for sending in a picture are on the page. We will try to post as many pictures as we can, but please, only send us your favorites, (not the whole darn roll of film! :-).

FAQ and REFERENCES Here is where you will find answers to your frequently asked questions. We are also including references to programs that are "key" to Return to Misty Moorings.
